Internet law, creating and maintaining a website, contracts, copyright, patent, trademark, court forms and legal concerns

Internet Law and Legal Concerns

Overview

Internet law encompasses those questions and issues arising from creating and maintaining a website and may involve some or all of the following; contracts, copyright, patent, trademark, court forms and legal issues covering many different areas of the law.

The speed with which technological hardware and software advances occur add unknown variables and complications to what is considered "legal." Our legal courts operating within a system whose judges base rulings on previous similar case decisions are challenged to resolve cases without precedent.

Because the Internet is accessible world wide, international law pertaining to contracts, copyright, etc., may also merit consideration. Internet law is organic and occurs much more rapidly than ever before. For further questions not found in the references below go to the directories.
